While I was browsing Facebook I stumbled upon Fox News Latino comments on facebook which I enclosed below.
When reading the full article I think the most important part of the many stories of Police Brutality and how the police preferred to fight students instead of Crime.
What makes it even worst is a Guy like Edwin Vazquez who is clearly outside of the Island making a comment like the one above on the University of Puerto Rico Braces for Walkout and More Protests article.
Based on the reporter leaving most of the police brutality issues that have arisen during the last year. Where students are outnumbered and without weapons and police still decide to attack them.
I think Mr. Fortuño’s current relationship with the Republican Party has helped him out extending his control on the local press in Puerto Rico into having influence on Fox News also.
When is traditional media going to Realize that they need to cover the complete story?
Fox News? They only have eyes for the GOP and rightists worldwide. Anything that sounds like rights (for the people) and equality for all will be seen like a threat to them and will be covered in the most biased way possible.
I agree with you like most of the things. It should not be a surprise.
A very interesting perspective, hermano. Yes I agree that people need to go read LOCAL sources and actual see the coverage from the students to get a full picture of the story.
