This year at  SXSW (South By Southwest) 2011, I met Pamela Hernandez (@thrivefit) a personal trainer that is vegetarian.  It was great to find someone that had many things in common with me.

Since then I have had the opportunity to continue conversing with her on a many subjects. She also collaborated with me by writing a guest post for VegLatino that was very useful.

I wrote a post previously on the importance of having your backups in place when you are a solo small business owner or in my case there are only two of us.

Pamela has proposed a topic called ” Your Most Precious Capital Is You” which breaks the patterns of many other panels that I saw at SXSWi. I think Pamela is the perfect candidate since I have been able to learn a lot on taking care of myself by reading her blog posts and tweets.

Last year I was able to enjoy @beckymckray’s panel on small business and I think we where missing a few more small business panels at SXSWi. This information can be very useful to many of the small business owners like myself who attend SXSWi and I already submitted my vote.

So in support of Pamela Hernandez, who has supported me in many ways since march, I ask you to go by and vote for her session so we can have another Latina and Vegetarian representing us at SXSWi.
