It’s Cold Up North
Every morning I wake up and I am anxious to start the new day. Some days I am more motivated than others.
For almost 7 years now I have gone on the rollercoaster of being an entrepreneur. From giving up some of the luxuries I thought I needed to live to the only home I owned.
What I have learned is that no matter what happens every day we end up focusing way too much on what is less important in life.
Last night just before I went to bed I noticed a status update on one of my friends. I had not reached out to her for weeks. I had seen she was going to become a mom and under circumstances I don’t know or would dare to ask she passed away.
She should have been younger than 34 years old (my current age). No reason to leave this earth so early.
I also realize how quickly life can end. This morning I motivated myself to capture a few shots of the sun rising. I placed the lens on the camera did not check even my ISO settings and I capture a few images. Those images have a few imperfections and I could have done a better job.
Thinking back on focusing on the bigger things in life I will have many more chances to improve my photography.
As I learn more I will see more imperfections and I will learn to correct them. I need to make sure that in that process I am having fun learning and improving what I love to do.
