If You don’t follow the Rules You Get Kicked Out

We all run into issues where we want to please our customers even when they don’t play by the rules. The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has a very strict policy to make sure other patrons don’t get affected by inconsiderate customers. I found SHE TEXTED. WE KICKED HER OUT post created by the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema thanks to a status update by @BethHarte.

Yesterday while taking @danielalcolon I would have wished the doctor’s office would have enforced this rule when I had people around me being loud, talking on their cellphones, and kids playing music on their phone without headphones. Not only was it uncomfortable to wait, but it did not allow me to get work done while I waited.

What other unorthodox methods have you seen other people take to make sure their out of line customers either get in line or leave?

Should we make other customers or patrons pay because we want to please everyone?

I know a restaurant near where I work in Philly that would not serve a customer while they talk on the phone. lol

I hang up when I need to ask for services so I think it is great that they do that!

The Alamo rules! What a comeback! I don’t know why would someone text during a movie, concert or any other activity on which you are supposed to pay attention to what’s in front of you. I’s a waste of time and money.
