Lotto Dreams

Last night I was so busy on other things that I forgot to play the Puerto Rico Lotto, which might be at one of the record highs of 25 million dollars.
This morning before I left for work I bumped into a website which supposedly sells Lotto Strategies to win the Lotto. They offer some free tips, which I found curious. If this information was so effective I am sure the author would not share the information with everyone or the book would be in print and multiple copies available.
Later during the day I saw the tweet (which I have included below), which made the most sense regarding the Current Lottery Chaos that is going around:

Out of all of the people I read talking about the local Puerto Rico Lotto Jackpot @papachote made the most sense. So if you are willing to lose money gambling mine as well donate it to his account.
I believe in thinking positively if you play but I also believe in probability. If you look at the probability of winning the lotto some people might just play a dollar and realize their chances really did not increase significantly because they played $20 (20/9,366,819), $50 (50/9,366,819), or even $100 (100, 9,366,819).
That’s it! You have a 1 in 9,366,819 chance of winning the Puerto Rico lottery. (If You want to find the probability of any other Lotto Game go into WebMath.
Here are some other odds for the sake of comparison:
  • You have about a 1 in 2,000,000 chance of being struck by lightning.
  • A pregnant woman has a 1 in 705,000 chance of giving birth to quadruplets.
  • Someone eating an oyster has a 1 in 12,000 chance of finding a pearl inside of it.
After analyzing the odds I agree with @papachote at least donating your money to him gives you a 1/1 (100%) chance you will make him happy,“Great odds”.

Do you have any strategy towards playing lotto you want to share?
