Puerto Rico’s “Friendliest” Tour Guide #Sarcasm

Eric Moccabee

Many of you enjoy my beach pictures and most of the time I try to project the beauty of Puerto Rico.

Only on certain occasions do I share the negatives of living on an island. An island where some individuals care very little about the lives of others.

I always joke around that one of my biggest fears are the reckless drivers in the tourist zones here on the Island.

Eric Moccabee.

Reckless Tour Guide

But little would I think that a tour guide by the name of Eric Daniel Moccabee would endanger the lives of my loved ones.

Tonight at about 6:30pm our beloved neighbor’s dog Paloma, a old 12 year old Spanish Mastiff, was almost run over as Eric Moccabee rammed his van into the San Juan Water Club’s entrance.

When my neighbor, who was almost the other victim decided to tap the van so he could be careful, Eric decided to launch expletives at my neighbor.

When I decided to stop him from insulting who almost became a victim of his, he decided to come after me by insulting and threatening to kick my ass.

After all the expletives were sent my way. Some expletives mentioning his tiny penis (there must be a reason why he was acting up), I took a few pictures being careful that he did not hit me as he came at me a couple of times.

While he created this scene instead of apologizing for almost running over my neighbor and her dog Paloma, his van was full of tourists.

He was picking up two tourists from the San Juan Water and Beach Club and he was ok with running over dogs and humans to make it to his destination.

Why does Puerto Rico Tourism Tolerate this Behavior?

I have many friends, some of them who were in the Boy scouts with me, which are honest and hard working individuals work in this industry on the island. It has been almost impossible for them to operate under tourism’s terms. So how is a guy like Erik Moccabee allowed to be an ambassador of our Island?

His thug attitude and foul language should not be allowed in any profession much less one working with tourists.

Who would want to support anyone who would harm humans and animals to make a few dollars?

Who I think should not Support Eric!

  • Pet Lovers
  • Anyone who loves life
  • Friends of Puerto Rico
  • Tourists coming to Puerto Rico
  • Other Tourism Vendors
  • Hotels who want their guests to feel safe
  • Restaurant owners and tour operators that want their guest to feel safe.

Don’t miss out on how Erik and his Wife post Good Reviews of his work?

I wonder if the other reviews are his family members.

Review posted by himself.

Well I was right on that one. Here is a review by his wife.

If you are publishing a public review online it is critical you disclose your relationship. Not only is this illegal violating FTC law  by endorsing and not disclosing the relationship it’s also bad for business.

Is there any way to contact you? I would love to send you some info. This way I can provide you with an email where he can be reported in the Tourism company. This behavior is unacceptanle and if Puerto Rico wants to grow or should I say continue to grow our Tourism economy peoplelike that should NOT be the the face that makes it happen gor them

Terrible thing trying to portray a private company as someone related to the PR Tourism Department . Seems like some kind of agenda. If you wish to make it better just go to the Tourism Office and make a complaint. This looks like a personal overkill.

@aixab:disqus The Tourism Company vouches for this tour guide. The only objective here is to make sure they vouch for tour guides that care about the communities they work around and tourists. I know many great professionals with vast knowledge of the Island that are not giving this privilege to drive a vehicle with a tourism vehicle and vouched for as a tour guide.

Tourism office is on vacation till the 8th. This happened 8 days ago and still can’t file a complaint after they come from Christmas Holiday.

It’s important to stop these behaviours before they create a tragedy. Just like what you shared today of Puerto Rico waking up without any violence ( https://www.facebook.com/aixa.belville/posts/10153006376192354?pnref=story )

I wrote this a few hours after this individual acted in a violent away. He not only almost ran over my neighbor and her dog he later proceeded with threatening my well being by wanting to assault me.

Instead of waiting for this behaviour to replicate then I rather write about it. Using a non-violent response to very aggressive an violent actions.

I also believe the current Tourism Management is doing a much better job than the previous one. As a Tourism Ambassador who does it volunteering his time I believe these issues should taken care of immediately.

The tourism company of Puerto Rico telephone is 7877212400. Do you have the time of the incident, day. The hotel that you claim, know since they call him for his service. Know if you can’t provide proof, them watch out, a legal law suit can go you way. By damage this man reputation.

We are waiting for a reply from PR Tourism Company. Hotel Security Staff was present when he acted that way and filed a report to the Tourism Company also.

I have enough proof and witnesses. The owner of the company knows we were recording him while he even flipped the bird a few times.

What I find interesting is that people worry about a legal suit but not of the actions of someone who put someones life at risk even my own.

Well, well, well… Looks like Eric is sending his buzzards to threat with “lawsuits”…
