Doing a Picture Perfect Job!
This last Sunday one of our clients the, Puerto Rican Parade of Fairfield County, celebrated the 18th annual parade in Bridgeport, CT. We re-designed the organization’s website with a limited budget and some hefty requirements, but we were able to deliver. We have also been handling their online community and giving business advisory in the role of volunteers when needed to make sure the parade was successful.
As with many volunteer organizations, there are a few people working hard and many others criticizing with no intention of investing time to help improve the efforts.
We supported the Parade Remotely as a gesture of gratitude for depositing the trust in our team to re-design their online presence.
Overall we were very lucky to have an awesome volunteer, which was the go-to person for most of the issues, named Tamar Morales. She was providing pictures from her mobile phone of the event and keeping us updated while handling many other tasks. I want to congratulate her for the awesome job she did and going the extra mile. She is also a contributing author on the website and has provided us with pictures of previous events.
We also had an extra treat from someone who deserves recognition for taking the time and capturing images of what happened during the parade. This person did not ask for recognition or an advertisement. She simply took the time to use her lens to capture the essence of the parade. I love taking pictures but I enjoy looking at pictures when taken by someone who is talented in the art of photography.
Catherine from Fonseca Photography decided to share her work with us via the Puerto Rican Parade of Fairfield County Facebook page. She went to the parade with the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade Organization.
Many of us were delighted to see the first pictures from the parade and in conjunction with Catherine’s talent, made those pictures Sexy!
We can see the passion Catherine has for photography as she excitedly shared her photos a day after the event. I want to thank Catherine for taking the time to give those of us not present at the event, such a great gift.
This is another good example on how people can recognize excellent work when you do it out of passion. Please visit Catherine’s Facebook page and give her your feedback on the photos. A simple Thank You can be a great thing to do for the time Catherine spent taking photos.
Thank’s to Catherine Fonseca of Fonseca Photography for the photos. © 2011 Fonseca Photography.
I have to say that people were asking for photos and thank goodness that between Tamar, Frankie, Catherine, and a few others, we were able to share them with those who were not at the parade.
