My Thoughts on the Image

Walking our 5 year old black labrador Juanga is sure a delight. During the week I usually alternate with my other half Lucy on walking him either in the morning or in the afternoon. For the past few weeks I have walked him during the morning on sundays.

A morning walk in Isla Verde on Sunday serves as a reminder that the week is ready to start. I catch a glimpse of those who arrive early at the beach trying to make the best of their weekend because many have to work tomorrow. Others who are still out from partying the night before throughout Isla Verde in the least appropriate attire from high heels to barely nothing.

As I walked I started seeing how the waves are picking up and as my good friend Mark Hayward explained when it’s cold up north we start getting waves down south.

My Thoughts on the Image

Every kid wants to make it to Disney. My first recollection of thoughts wanting to go there was seeing my mom in a picture during the late 70’s where she was on the ride.

Since that moment that I was probably around the age of 7 I remember wanting to visit that magical place.  At the age of 25 on my first trip to California on business I was able to escape with my co-workers Robert Nodine and Yumi Nishiyama to Disneyland.  Those hours where one the funnest moments I had while working for KPMG.

At the age of 34 and on my 5th world Disney World visit and my 7th if I count my two visits to Disneyland I took my daughter on this ride and got on it for the first time.

This picture definitely has a deeper story that can’t be covered in just one thousand words.

Walking near the Waves on Isla Verde Beach

For a little more than 2 years, I have walked Isla Verde beach at least once a day.

Isla Verde is where I call home now but being a nomad at heart who knows where else I will be when I read this post a few years from now.

As I took this picture I got a request from a friend to get the image for himself.

This is the first image of many I will be posting to share with you and to possibly have you support a new route and path I will be taking with my projects and my photography.
