SXSW Rookie – Getting Ready for SXSWi Tips

Photos of Raul Colon Web Developer Puerto Rico

This is my first time going to SXSW and lots of people have been very helpful in giving me tips on the do’s and don’t.  I really want to thank @hectorramos ,  @jpadilla_ ,   @franklogic , and @mhjohnston which are the people that have helped me greatly in my pre-planning.

My first big technology conference was last year in @chirp where I was a bit lost and was very thankful for the great people I met that guided me and made me feel at home.

I am expecting to enjoy SXSW as much as I can. I want it to be a learning experience from a personal and business perspective. It will be a great opportunity to meet as many people I have interacted with online for a while and have not had the opportunity to meet them in person. Overall I want to be able to connect with new people throughout the event.

I have done much less planning that other people I spoken too. I want to have a good balance of enjoying myself and really making the best out of the experience.

I found these following applications other than the official SXSW.com applications which have helped me identify some of my contacts as people planning to assist SXSW interactive.
