Today officially ends the Christmas season here in Puerto Rico. Epiphany or Three King’s day is celebrated in many latin american countries and in Puerto Rico serves as the day last official day of christmas. If you want to learn more about Three King’s day feel free to jump over the post @lucymfel created on Papaheroes.com titled Three Kings Day in the Caribbean.
As a kid since I lived part of my childhood in Connecticut I did miss out on celebrating Three King’s day but as a Dad know I will make sure my daughter celebrates it.
Initial Idea of Papaheroes.com
When the idea of starting PapaHeroes came to the picture I would have never thought of having a weekly cartoon to complement the content we create during the week.
Thankfully my good friend, business partner, and key member of the PapaHeroes alliance @ricklipsett signed up as my partner on this project investing many hours on his side to create these great pieces of art that educate and makes many like me laugh every Sunday morning.
We are well over a few months of the Papaheroes launch and we have 29 Daddy Knows comic strips that my friend Rick Lipsett has created and published on Papaheroes.com.
I have seen how this series has evolved into getting the sense that we all pretty much run through the same issues and concerns with our kids.
The Papaheroes platform allows us to be able to share those ideas and help each other over come those situations we will continue to confront as parents in the future.
Initially Papaheroes was to create awareness of Online safety but there are so many factors in parenting that eventually lead to online safety that we need to look for a way to complement them all.
The Word is Getting Around
We have also been very lucky to receive recognition from other dad shows like Daddy on Board and blogs like Babble.com who named us Top 10 Group Dad Blogs next to a few other blogs we admire and do a great job at sharing the experience of being a parent.
Here are some of my favorite Daddy Knows Comic Strips on Papaheroes.com that might be of interest to you with some of my thoughts. Feel free to make your own interpretations and share below.

Some parents focus on spending a good amount of money when it comes to gifts for whatever holiday or event. the best thing you can do is give gifts with the opportunity for kids to be creative without prioritizing the dollar value on them.

The importance of Breastfeeding not only those it have therapeutical value for many of the growing pains but it clearly is natures way of bringing good nutrition to any child.
